Privacy & enquiries

A clear account of how your details are handled.

This notice applies to information shared with Jatu Photographer through this website, email, telephone and social channels.

Who is responsible

Jatu Photographer is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. The studio is based in Bangkok, Thailand and works with clients in Thailand and worldwide.

Information we collect

When you make an enquiry, we may receive your name, company, email address, telephone number, project location, brief, deliverables, timeline, budget range and any other information you choose to share. Basic technical and referral information may also be recorded to protect the form from abuse and understand where an enquiry originated. This can include an approximate two-letter country code supplied by the website infrastructure; the dashboard does not need to retain the visitor's IP address for country reporting.

Why we use it

We use this information to review the opportunity, respond to you, prepare a scope or estimate, plan commissioned work, maintain project records and protect the website. We do not sell enquiry details or use them for unrelated advertising.

Lead attribution

If you accept optional analytics, this site keeps a short-lived first-party record of the landing page, the previous internal page, the referring website origin and recognised UTM campaign labels. It does not retain arbitrary query parameters, advertising click IDs or the full referring URL. This session record is attached to an enquiry only when you submit the form, so Jatu can understand which content and campaigns lead to genuine opportunities.

Optional analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 in Advanced Consent Mode v2, either directly or through Google Tag Manager. The Google tag starts with analytics and advertising storage denied. In this state it may send limited, cookieless measurements about page views, interaction types and whether an enquiry was completed for aggregate reporting and modelling, but it does not read or write Google Analytics or advertising cookies. Form-entered details are never included in these measurements.

If you accept analytics, first-party analytics storage is enabled and the site may send limited events including page views, project or service selections, video starts, contact-method clicks, portfolio filters and a confirmed enquiry with session and campaign context. A confirmed enquiry may include its random lead reference, content language and broad service category so one accepted brief is counted once; the reference contains no contact details. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, project messages, exact budgets and other form-entered details are not sent to analytics. Advertising storage, advertising user-data and advertising personalisation remain disabled whether you accept or decline.

Accepted analytics also measures real-world page performance using Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), Interaction to Next Paint (INP), Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), First Contentful Paint (FCP) and Time to First Byte (TTFB) in a representative sample of browser sessions. Performance events are labelled separately from business interactions and include a performance rating, navigation type and a clean page path. Search parameters, raw URLs, element text or selectors, form content and unique metric identifiers are not sent with these measurements.

You can continue to use every part of the website, play films and submit an enquiry without analytics cookies. Your choice can be changed at any time.

Browser storage

A necessary local preference remembers whether analytics was accepted or declined. If accepted, attribution, a performance-sampling choice and a temporary duplicate-prevention key for an accepted enquiry are held in session storage and normally end when the browsing session closes. You can change the preference at any time from the website footer or clear it using your browser settings.

Embedded films

YouTube No-Cookie or Vimeo content is loaded only after you choose to play a public film. The video provider may then receive technical information under its own privacy terms. A poster image and the rest of the page remain available without loading the external player.

Storage and service providers

Enquiries are stored in access-controlled systems used to operate the website and may be copied into the studio's content or project-management systems. Trusted hosting, security and content-management providers may process limited data on our behalf. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for these purposes.

Retention

We retain enquiry and project information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to respond, manage the working relationship, meet record-keeping obligations or resolve a dispute. Consented analytics data is configured for a maximum retention period of 14 months where the provider supports it. Information that is no longer required is deleted or anonymised where practical.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct or delete information you have shared, or withdraw a request before a project begins. Some records may need to be retained where there is a legal or contractual reason to do so.
